Found myself at 11 pm last night making a batch of the infamous Soupdragon cookies. Have no idea why. only had white choc chips, ate far too many failed cookies. Who will join me in a call to ahve the cookie thread deleted to end this madness?

Did they all splodge into one big mess?? I bet you went to bed feeling very sick didn't you???

yes, cookie sheets covered in oozing cookie, got about five off whole which preserved for the boys. Had to eat remainder to avoid waste...

At least you only had white chocolate chips and not ALL of the chocolate the recipe requires. Mine were all a disaster, had to cover in fairy liquid and throw away quickly before I found the temptation of eating them too much. I am struggling with will power this week on my diet but luckily haven't given in YET. I thought I'd put small dollops of mixture on the trays but you must need tiny dollops. Might try again tonight!!!

Had quite a lot of white choc chips tho because boys had picked them out at the supermarket. also can't help wondering what they woudl be like with other kinfs of choc chip. Next time will have washing up liquid at the ready to kill them as soon at they emerge from the oven...

That was always something I had to do with the kids left overs. Always have an economy bottle of washing up liquid at the ready!!!!

I don't know whether to give them another go.

OK, I did it, I had another go at making the cookies and they turned out fan-dabbie-dozie. Took flaming hours to cook as I only cooked 2 at a time and cooked them on baking parchment. But at least they didn't turn into a huge gloopie mess like last week. I was really impressed with myself. THey look like real Cookie Jar cookies. I could open a shop!!! Better still I made the whole batch and I haven't eaten a crumb .

I've never had any trouble with mine. Nyanyanya.
