I make it by slicing and boiling the potatoes in gravy made with gravy powder then when they are cooked adding the diced corned beef and a tin of baked beans.
I know it isn't proper corned beef hash but is they way my Mum always made it!

I made it yesterday - boiled potatoes and carrots together, meanwhile fried onion and garlic till quite well done, added chopped up corned beef, mixed in pots and carrots, cooked for a few more minutes (it was quite dry). Sprinkled chopped up parsley and pepper on it, ate with crusty bread, everyone liked it which is amazing for my house.

can i just put corned beef and mash potato in the oven for about 20 mins, will the corned beef 'cook' in that time?
I am doing fried onions and garlic mrsmike and will add lots of pepper

Fry onion, boil potatoes, add corned beef to onions, then add pots and pour
beef stock over. Simmer in frying pan.
