I bought some to get some good oily fish into the LO's and now I don't know how to make it appetising.

mix with cram cheese and lemon juice - voila mackerel pate

cream cheese

add to mashed potato with a teeny bit of spring onion and sweetcorn and fry like little fish cakes.

mix into pasta/ spaghetti

mix with a bit of mayonaise and serve as a sandwich/on toast or in toasted sarnie

my dd2 loves it ....she just has a little bit in a bowl and eats it

YUM

My dds love the kind in tomato sauce, I just mash it up a bit, serve with mashed potato and [hopeful emoticon] broccoli... The non tom sauce type, drain leaving a bit of the oil and whizz with some softened butter and a bit of black pepper - mackerel pate, apparently yummy on toast (I wouldn't know, as I am a vegetarian...)

Oh and a bit of lemon juice (in the pate)

These sound great. what's the rough fish:cream cheese ratio required?
