deep fried courgettes like at cafe uno

Anyone know how to make them?? I'm doing chicken in a tomato sauce tonight and would really love to make some deep fried courgettes to go with it.

At the pub where I work, they dip them in flour and put them in the fryer.

My DS1 loves courgettes, but we do not have a fryer so I dip them in flour, then beaten egg and back into flour and gently fry them for a few minutes in some olive oil with a small amount of butter. Quite often I will grate some fresh parmesan cheese into the flour to give more taste.
