dp made a big bowl of chilli and froze it - he took it out last night to defrost but its still frozen in the middle - can i chuck it in a pan as it is and heat it up for dinner?

yeah - no reason why not - if not finish it off in microwave if u have one... my husband is a chef and does this all the time so assume it is safe!

Yep! My husband makes chili, too -- am now wishing we were having that instead of stir fry.

Don't know if you're supposed to do it or not, but I've cooked semi-frozen leftovers and am still here.
I have the stomach of a concrete elephant though.

excellent - i thought it would be fine as i'm sure the chef in dp's pub used to do it but just thought i'd better check!!!
