I know its been posted about a lot, and consequently I got it out from my library and now bought my own copy...
its a brilliant book. Really grateful to mumsnet for having learnt about it. The food is just so simple, and so very tasty. Her deserts just dont fail do they? I made the oaty sultana apple crumble today, have eaten most of it myself. The fairy cakes are lovely, flapjacks fantastic, etc etc. All are recipes Ive been trrying to make in the past but without ring of 'perfection' to them.
I wouldnt say that many of the meals Ive cooked are easy time wise though.. plus a LOT of washing up accumulates by the time youre finished.
But I love it none the less.
