20 Mth - eating trouble - advice and help much needed

I am the mother of two great boys 9 and 20 months. With my youngest I decided to make his weaning food and we did really well to start with, he ate a variety of friut and veggie purees. However, when I returned to work and as he got older I used jarred baby food (Hipp)as he liked the lumpier jars better than lumpy home made food.
He is now becoming an adventurous toddler but I am Struggling to get him to eat a what I would call a normal meal ie. mash, veg, and some meat. He loves pasta and I make a mean pasta bolognaise that hides loads of veg, but I would love him to enjoy food with the rest of the family.
He eats some fruit depending on his mood (grapes, small oranges, apple slices) but over the past few weeks his keeness for these has dwindled.
In an average day he will eat:
Breakfast - porridge or 2 weetabix
Lunch - Sandwich or toast for lunch (soft cheese, banana sandwiches) may have fruit or yogurt after.
Dinner - A good helping of pasta bol or a jar of baby food 15 mths or noodles if I'm lucky, if a serve him a meat potato and veg dinner he won't eat any!!. And a yogurt.
Is it just a case of serving smaller and mashed portions of our food and if he does not eat then tough OR an I expecting too much from my little man?

ANY ADVICE MUCH APPRECIATED

He seems to be doing pretty well tbh. My dd (ten months) went off all pureed stuff at about 6/7 months so I switched to blw and this has been much easier...she basically has what we have and she seems to enjoy it!
