First cookery book for 8 year old

Can anyone recommend a first cookery book for my 8 year old son? I am open to ideas, but would prefer it to have a mix of recipes, eg cakes, puddings and some hot meals, plus for it to contain safety tips.

Some recommendations here .

I've got the Usborne one which has a mix of savoury and sweet things. Super pictures.

Bit worried from that link that my 8 yo is too young to be starting this sort of thing, but thatnks for replying anyway. I will try to find out more about those suggestions.

Thanks Puff. I also like the look of the Usborne book so I will go with that. Thanks for replying.
