Have looked in Asda, Sainsbury and Tesco but can only find bloody football cakes or thomas the tank engine.

Someone told me theyd seen a dinosaur cake in tesco but I cant find it in my local.

Anyone know of any decent cakes anywhere?

My sister bought a dinosaur one (National Science Museum one) from somewhere recently..probably waitrose. It was rather yummy

Although it could have been from Morrisons I suppose

M&S do some decent cakes you get get off the shelf.

We had an ordered one for DS2 christening and it was yummy

They do a lovely cute racing car in Asda called Pit Stop Pete, he's a bit like Roary. Waitrose do a dinaosaur but think its a made to order one. There is a natural History Museum dinosaur cake like you say but its for older boys I would say, he's not a freindly dino! How old is your DS?

Do you have a local bakery that could bake one for you? Would probably be nicer than a shop bought one And definitely cheaper.

mosschops30 · 07/01/2008 20:33

janitor I cant view that, but will have a look at waitrose I think we have one nearby.

calzone · 07/01/2008 22:21

morrisons do the dino cake as do tesco and sains.

3andnomore · 07/01/2008 22:23

I am sure I have seen a Roary Racecar cake at Asdas

dinny · 07/01/2008 22:26

order one from Waitrose - they are fab. hang on...

dinny · 07/01/2008 22:29

how about this?

dinny · 07/01/2008 22:30

the dino one at bottom

dinny · 07/01/2008 22:31

can't do link! go to celebration cakes and then to non-personalised novelty cakes on left

jellycat · 07/01/2008 22:37

Party pieces do kits, including a dinosaur one.

The Waitrose ones are great but you have to order (you usually need 1 or 2 weeks, depending on which cake it is, IIRC).
