My 10 month old daughter keeps vomiting

Can anyone help please?
My ten month old daughter has got herself into the habit of making herself sick especially after lunch. Breakfast is normally fine, lunch is a real battle, she will start to 'gip' before the food is placed into her mouth, and can usually make herself sick on the first mouthful. I initially thought this was due to lumpy fod, however she even does this on pureed food. At tea time she usually just refuses the food. She attends nursery on two afternoons a week and eats whatever they give her including jacket potatoes and beans, sandwiches, crumpets etc without event. The only saving grace is that she still likes her milk and therefore I am reluctant to reduce this. This pattern has been going on for about 3 months and the health visitor believes that she will just grow out of it and is not concerned, although at 39 weeks pregnant I am extremely distressed about the whole situation. Book suggestions etc would be great.

Sounds pretty odd. The fact it doesn't happen at nursery is particularly weird. What happens if someone other than you feeds her at home? And what do you do when she does this?

I'd wonder if she was doing it because it gets a reaction from you? (Any parent would react pretty strongly to this sort of thing!)

what about finger food - would she put food in her mouth if it were left on her tray/plate and you pretended you weren't watching?
