my dd loves scrambled eggs with grated cheese at lunchtime. Also mashed bananas on toast, spaghetti hoops, sandwiches, baked potatos etc.

Some pasta and a homemade (and frozen if you do in advance) tomato and veg sauce. Could drop some chunks of broccoli in to the water for the last 5-6 minutes and serve with.

You don't really have to blend anything for a 7 month old if you don't want to. See Aitch's blog for lots of ideas.

thanks for that the blog was real helpful i wouldn't like to give him normal food all the time but like if i am in a rush or something then i don't have time to blend it if he'sscreaming i think i might be a bit more adventorus he eats toast real well and sometimes bread in a sandwhich and i must say he eats the toas tjust like we would he don't mess around with it or nothing

why not give him normal food all the time then? much less effort than blending.
