Suet for a 7 month old?

DD2 (7 months) usually eats whatever we are having for dinner, but obviously mashed up, and I use a home made stock for hers. We're having steak pudding tomorrow. I was thinking of making a separate one for her, and freezing some of it. Does anyone know if it is ok to give a 7 month old suet?

Well I suppose they must have given it in the old days so it won't be too bad, but I feel it's just too high in saturated fat content for her system

Could be wrong though, I was wrong about the mango

I suppose if in doubt, don't give it to them. I was thinking of trying vegetable suet, but there are no ingredients on the packet. I think I'll just cook up the meat, without the pastry, for her. Thanks Suzywong.
