oooh spicy shredded beef with egg fried rice and prawn crackers. very partial to that crispy duck you make into little pancakes too. oh and crispy seaweed too.

we usually have a combination of
sweet and sour chicken hong kong style
egg fried rice
chicken chow mein
beef chop suey
chicken and mushrooms
beef in satay
crispy chilli beef

and we always have prawn crackers and chips as love the chips from our chinese

Cod, you need to move to where I live, there are more chinese take aways than you can shake a stick at and they are all good. We have an excellent one over the road (2 mins walk) that prepares food in 20 mins flat and is fresh. Our neighbour also runs one of the other local ones and so we always get food delivered very quickly from there .

How many of you have delivery as opposed to take-away?

another vote for the salt & pepper squid! oh and prawn crackers, sesame prawn toast, pancake rolls, hot & sour soup, bean curd & mixed veg in oyster sauce, special fried rice....is there much left on the menu after all that???

I love Chicken Satay, sui mai, chow mein and prawn toast.

We have a fab Chinese restaurant at the end of our road that also sells take-out food and is lovely. Very pricey though so a treat. Usual things I order are Singapore type noodley thing, crispy beef (which is actually beef steak, diced and cooked with chili, herbs etc and you make lettuce rolls with it, beef in black bean sauce and something called garlic chicken which is unsurprisingly chicken and Chinese veg with lots of garlic. Tasty, very tasty. Despise crap cheap take-away though

all our chinese/indians etc do delivery - problem is its to easy to ring and order, if I had to go and collect it we wouldnt have it so often
