I would like to try and get my DD now nearly 14 months back onto fish. I thought fish balls she hates potato and is allergic to egg and I can't find any recipes that exclude both. Any ideas. She now hates cheese sauce too so hiding fish in that is no longer an option. Help help help

you can make fish balls and use matzo meal or breadcrumbs to bind it together - use it quite sparingly so it doesn't get too dry

have you tried offering her poached fish and cous cous?

I make fishcakes with lods of veg in. I add whatever I've got in at the time - onion, broccoli etc. I chop it in the food processor and steam it first (so it goes quite sloppy) and add it to tinned salmon or tuna. it binds together beautifully, and then I just coat it in breadcrumbs and put them in the oven for 20 mins.
