Anyone have any ideas how I could create a filling using soy mince (its that dried tvp one)?
Dh has just made some real ones and they look great so thought I might try some veggie ones tonight...

I use veggie sausages in place of meaty ones.

We used to make them using Sosmix (the dried one that you added water? egg? to)mixed with tomatoes, cubes of cheese, herbs etc.

Not sure about TVP though -I've not used it for years but doesn't it go a bit soggy?

Cauldron do really nice vegetarian Lincolnshire sausages and Cumberland sausages. Try those a lot less hassle than trying to make then from scratch.

i've done them with waitrose vegetarian sausages, think the mushroom ones. they were a bit dry though, i was making for a vegan so couldn't use milk to glaze (no soya to hand) either.
