Breadstick alert! DS has just cut himself on a breadstick...

I mean not just a little scratch but a proper, dripping blood cut, right across his cheek, with the jagged edge of a half-chewed stick. Has this ever happened to your DCs or was this a freak occurence? I was under the impression breadsticks were a good food for small children but apparently not...!!

we get the mini breadsticks because the DCS gouge each other with the big ones.

NorthernLurker · 31/12/2007 14:01

you don't think they havebaked them too hard do you - it does seem a bit extreme an injury really

PanicPressiePants · 31/12/2007 14:03

Blimy - what was he doing with it?

StealthPolarBear · 31/12/2007 14:07

aargh!
A breadstick! hope he's ok

Jacksmybaby · 31/12/2007 16:43

He is fine. To be fair, panicpressie, he was waving it about in one hand in between taking bites, while climbing on DH, and think he slipped and jabbed the sharp end into his face. BUT STILL! Surely a breadstick shouldn't be that sharp?!

climbing on dh whilst eating...

I think I would expect a breadstick to do that under those circimstances really
