Turkey leftovers ... how many days will it keep?

I cooked mine on Boxing Day (Wed), so it's now day 4. Took it off bone yesterday but we've heaps left and it's a sin to throw it out - smells & looks ok - want to freeze for sandwiches.

Safe or potential foodpoisoning?

Ok to freeze.

BUT bin it, I find it deeply weird that people and I include my DH in this want to get 365 meals out of it.

Great ... I'll freeze it! Not so much that I want to keep eating it (enough at this stage) but kids like chicken wraps for school lunches ... substitute turkey and I've a good stock for the next while

one year i was just too lazy and got some fresh pasta sauce (sutiable for home freezing)

added some turkey to each portion and turned it into 'turkey pasta sauce', which i froze and used for the next few months

Nice one NannyL.

I've been lazy ... read the papers instead of freezing it tonight. Hopefully it'll still be okay if I pop it in the freezer in the morning??
