Inspiration needed for starter!

3 families getting together - I've drawn the "starter". 6 adults, 6 under 7s, main course is beef casserole. Suggestions please!

pate and oatcakes with redcurrant jelly...easy!

Melon + ham, neatly arranged on plate with 2 strawberries and 2 slices of kiwi fruit. Keep it light - not soup if beef casserole coming next.

I wouldnt worry too much about a starter TBH
