yesterday i had the rellies round for a post Xmas get together. i made a lamb casserole about 11am then put it in the slow cooker to keep warm. Delicious, but unbelievably there was a portion left over (!). I put it in the fridge about 10pm, do you reckon it will be ok to eat, or should i ditch it as it's been kept warm so long?

think i know the answer really, but was hoping i wouldn't have to waste the food.

well i'd eat it. heat it thoroughly. should be ok if you put it in the fridge fairly promptly, or had it gone cold hours earlier?

no, i kept it warm til about 6pm, then put it in the fridge when it cooled. thanks for the advice. x
