Champagne expiry?

Have found some M&S Champagne in the garage probably given to us during one of our pregnant christmases. It says to be consumed within 12 months of purchase, but no BB date. Seems such a shame to waste - will it be safe to drink now?

Yes!!!!!!

If you open it, and it tastes vinegary, or like crap, don't drink it, but it should be fine

Don't drink it.
Send it to me.
I will dispose of it properly.

Thanks both - the answer I wanted! So grateful Princess but I wouldn't want to put you to any trouble!

Depends how it has been stored. If the cork has been kept wet it will be fine. If not it could be grim.

ah well, it was worth a try!
Enjoy it! Merry christmas!
