Tomorrow: Christmas dinner (Christmas for me was cancelled for covid)
Saturday: picky bits/leftovers
Sunday: jacket spuds with leftover chilli
Monday: borlotti bean shepherds pie
Tuesday: mushroom and leek risotto
Wednesday: satay noodle stirfry
Thursday: DP sorts

Finally back at it - nice to see some new faces!

Tonight: soyrizo and cabbage hash
Tuesday: shepherdless pie and green beans
Wednesday: fennel and olive stew (HFW)
Thursday: steak/tofu with chips and peas
Friday: cauliflower katsu curry

Today - fish pie pasta bake (Joe Wicks)
Tuesday - egg fried rice using leftover Chinese marinated pork
Wednesday - Lamb and aubergine curry with flatbreads, feta and pomegranate (Joe Wicks)
Thursday - Greek feta traybake
Friday - sweet potato peanut curry

Tonight.... turkey meatballs and spaghetti / courgetti

Sat....not sure yet. Debating Chinese takeaway.

Sun....roast beef in the slow cooker with cavolo Nero, cauliflower cheese and roasties and Yorkshire puds

Mon....fake nandos. Chicken breast with the nandos seasoning. Wedges. Corn on the cob

Tues.... crispy chicken fajitas

Minimal effort week here. DH and I are both busy with work and feeling really run down so a mix of shop bought/take it out of the freezer/put the DC to work type meals:

Sat: DD making us homemade pizzas - roast veg, goats cheese & caramelised onion.

Sun: Salmon en croute (Aldi) mash (bought), veg
Mon: Tortellini with sautéed veg, pesto
Tues: Veggie sausages & mash (again bought) onion gravy, veg.
Wed: Lentil & bean chilli (made last week and in the freezer), rice
Thurs: Spaghetti & quorn meat balls
Fri: Spicy halloumi & veg wraps, salad, wedges

Thought I would join this. Meal planning is currently effected by the fact I have gestational diabetes. Plan Fri- Fri. This week is:
Fri- pork steaks, mash and veg
Sat- takeaway
Sun- slow cooker beef stew and new potatoes
Mon- salmon, cous cous and veg,
Tues- chicken curry and rice
Wed- beef chow mein
Thurs- pizza stuffed chicken and mash

Mushroom bourguignon and mash
Taco stuffed sweet potatoes
Cheese and tomato bread pudding
Chickpea burgers to use leftover lime and coriander from sweet potatoes
Jamie’s speedy quiche traybake
Quorn meatball subs

Chilli and rice and guac
Mushroom and squash risotto
Spicey courgette and aubergine ramen
Lentils, spaghetti squash, feta and chilli bake

Def getting in a take away or two this week. Both D.C. down with covid

Last week I used The Veggie Chinese Takeaway Cookbook by Kwoklyn Wan for the first time and was so impressed. It really did taste like a good takeaway (without a pool of grease). Excited to try it again this week. May need to move it earlier in the week to appease DH.

F- Vegetable Udon noodles in yellow bean sauce and beer battered pakoda/ vegetable manchurians. Both from the veggie Chinese takeaway cookbook.

Wednesday: Tandoori salmon, tomato and spinach curry, naan, breaded chicken for the DC
Thursday: pasta with either baked feta or sausages, roasted veg, garlic bread
Friday: quiche or sausage roll, new potatoes, peas and carrots

The cocunut/fish/kale curry this one from last week was a huge hit!
