tesco man didn't bring fresh chestnuts (mixed nuts as a substitution!)

want to make my stuffing tonight and recipe says 125g of cooked, peeled chestnuts. can chestnut puree be used instead or do i need to go and try another supermarket this av?

please advise!

Don't know which recipe you are using but I use chestnut puree in mine (Delia's). Sure it will be fine
