Help me make a gorgeous meal

I planned for us to have surf and turf tonight and got as far as buying rib eye steak and some gamba prawns, and now i'm stuck.

How is best to cook the steak/prawns and what shall I serve with it? I can go to the shop for any needed ingredients to make it scrumptious!

Season the steak with salt and cracked pepper before flash frying on a really, really hot pan, put the steak into a hot oven to finish. Fry the prawns in garlic and chilli butter and serve on top of the steak.

Probably a salad and jacket potatoes as chips might be a bit heavy with the two types of protein and the garlic butter iyswim. Enjoy I am as on a permanent diet.

I should be on a diet, but its really cold here so I wanted a true winter warmer/belly filler tonight!

I had a roasted leg of chicken with the skin removed with some ratatouille. Which was lovely but definitely not as lovely as what you had.
