Chocolate glaze for cheesecake - help please...

The recipe says to combine 200g dark chocolate, 60g melted unsalted butter and 2TBSP LIGHT CORN SYRUP in a bowl, stir and then spread over cheesecake. I do not have any corn syrup, can I just miss it out or will it not set? If it won't set, what can I use instead? TIA

I seem to recall substituting light corn syrup with a melted sugar and water solution so that should work although you may need to google the quantities

Corn syrup is golden syrup. It will probably be ok without but not the right texture iyswim.
