Got ds (2.5) a cottage pie from M&S today, he took the cardboard sleeve off, went to the cutlery drawer, stood on his steps, took out a fork and started stabbing holes in the top ready for it to go in the microwave.

Ooops I think this boy has seen one too many ready meals being prepared in this house....slummy mummy award for me me thinks!!

nah you are doing a brilliant job making him independant!!! Now teach him to open a tin of peas (gotta have veg!) and maybe how to find the local take aways number in the phone book and you have a child who can feed himself a well rounded diet!!! WHAT A GOOD MUMMY!!!!!!
