vegetarian christmas recipe

have just been told that i have a vegetarian staying who will expect something made specially for her that is 'christmassy' clearly i cant just buy something from m&s and bung in oven at the end-any suggestions?

speaking as a vegetarian I think it's pretty bloody rude actually to take up someone's offer of hospitality and then demand something special and home-made for dinner. So I'm encouraging you to go for some asda nut roast with a sprig of poinsettia on the top so it looks christmassy.

I'd be happy with something nice from Marks, anything I don't have to cook (or microwave!) is a bonus. I also happily eat MILs oversalted grey sprouts for that reason if we are there.

As a veggie also I agree with Beewisemen - I read OP as wanting to make something special

I don't really think that you should be expected to make something seperate -if you want to that's fine but you shouldn't have to - especially if you hav only 1 veggie. Marks make some really nice things...
