Urgent - squirty cream, how long does it last?

I'm 39.5 wks pregnant and have a craving for a hot chocolate with squirty cream on! I have a can in the fridge that is a standby for Christmas (use by date is Feb 08).

Can I use it once tonight then put back in the fridge til Christmas or do I need to use the whole thing within 2-3 days? (hmmm might not be a hard feat the way I'm feeling )

Can doesn't say - just says Best Before End of Can.

should keep fine, tis airtight in can even once opened

I'm sure it would be fine for a couple of weeks, just make sure you wash out the end thoroughly before you put it back in the fridge. But just to be on the safe side you should try and use it up asap !! Esp as you've only got a few days before the big day treat yourself, you're not going to have much time for lovely hot chocs after are you!!

Good luck with your LO and if you go two weeks over due does that make you due on Christmas Day?

it'll be fine.....just ensure you wash out the nozzel.

I've put a can in fridge before now after use but not washed, and the horror on my MIL's face when she got the can out for me a few weeks later was shaming.....

otherwise just heed to the date on bottom of can.

go and enjoy...(and have one for me as I very very allergic to milk and now you made me craaaaaaaaaaaaave one and I can't..stomp stomp stomp)

ours say 14 days refridgerated.

Ahhhhh it's heaven!!!!!!!!! (sorry CSMP!) even popped a couple of marshmallows on top as well . Washed nozzle out really well. Ohh this is dangerous knowing how well it keeps!

forkhandles, yep could well give birth on Christmas Day, latest they will leave me for induction is 29th so with all things going well I should definitely have baby before New Year!
(hmm what's the bet I'll be posting asking how well some alcoholic cocktail keeps then!!)

Southeastastra - 14 days sounds reasonable, mine is Anchor but can't see it written anywhere on it.

CSMP - just think of the extra inches going on my tum, bum and thighs as I type as a result though!

Nooooooooooo CSMP that's criminal, now I've got visions of a hot-out-of-the-microwave muffin. Might have to talk DH into stopping off on the way back from footy training tonight
