HI DOES ANYONE KNOW HOW LONG IT TAKES TO COOK A STEW *QUICKLY*

Im starving got no poatoes in it gonna chuck some dumplings in later but was wondering if an hour was long enough

Nowhere near - it will take at least three hours. You'd be better off battering hell out of the meat, slicing it thin as paper and stir frying.

Don't let it boil - the meat will go all tough and horrid.

Should be long enough to ensure meat is cooked....stews are one of those...the longer the better though as it the meat gets tenderer (is that a word?). I always do a minumum of 3hrs persona;;y

What meat are you using? Stewing steak?
