fry off the turkey and pepper, then make risotto with it? Do you have stock?

A variation of DH's favourite meal of "Hungarian Style Turkey" from a Tesco's leaflet circa 1990.

Fry off turkey and pepper (and onion should you have any)

Add pasta and some stock (bit vague about quantity here - the aim is to have enough to cook the pasta in but so that by the end of cooking there is not much liquid left - you could add some and then top up as you go a la risotto style)

Add some cayenne (about 1/2 tsp depending on how spicy you liek things) or paprika.

Cook until pasta is done, then stir in the creme fraiche (original recipe said yoghurt), parsley and serve with sprinking of cayeen/paprika.

gipfeli that sounds nice, don't have cayenne, but have paprika. also have fajita mix, do you think that would work?

Well personally I'd give it a go!
