my dp once fitted some automated production line software computer stuff into a kiplings factory
HE will never ever touch a kiplings product and is esp vehement about anything with jam or fruit...

and he also added a similar product to the Felic cat food factory
He says, now that he would rather eat the cat food, their place was spotless

thats not reassuring!! can you say why?

I get quite a lot of these things, i signed up for the food recall things and so much is recalled because of metal contamination or things with nuts in that really shouldn't have.

Mt dh is an engineer on a certain type of machinery they have in all different kinds of factories.

He went to the sun valley factory last week and said he will never eat chicken again!

Thank goodness our budget doesn't stretch to Mr K's!! (don't tell me about shops own i would prefer to be ignorant!!)

I did a job for a veg freezing/packing factory once and got a guided tour (white had and over shoes included - nice!) - what I heard has made me ensure that I never buy frozen runner beans (worst stories - amazing what the harvester picks up....)

Mum used to work for a jam factory picking caterpillars off the rpoduction line

They never bothered covering poelpe at break time

She makes all her own now!

Dh worked at cadburys though and said tio was fine, never expected the scare there at all

Restaurants are just as bad...When i was 15 i got a weekend job at our local (very posh) italian restaurant as a pot washer.

The head chef used to make us pick off the full/untouched looking veg off the dirty plates and put them in a huge bucket to re-serve to people
