Anyone have a good recipe for dried fruit/cereal bars that don't include sugar?

Just come across this one in an Australian book - don't know what its like, and not sure what a lamington pan is:

Apricot bars:

185g butter
2 tbs golden syrup
35g plain flour
55g natural muesli
100g brown sugar
75g finely chopped dried apricots
40g sultanas
20g rolled oats
20g desiccated coconut
2 eggs, beaten lightly.

Grease 20cm x 30 cm lamington pan (??!) and line base with baking paper. Combine butter ans syrup in samll pan; stir over low heat until butter melts. Combine sifted flours, muesli, sugar, apricots, sultantas, oats and coconut together in large bowl; stir in eggs and cooled butter mixture. Press mixture into prepared pan; bake in moderate oven for 25 mins. Cool in pan; cut into fingers before serving. Stores in airtight container for up to 4 days.

I think it will be a square/rectangular baking tin about 2 inches deep? Maybe less.
