Fishcakes but got no eggs - any ideas? Help!!!!

Am just in middle of making fishcakes but got no eggs and not got time to go to shop. Anyone know anything else I can use?

Do you use eggs to bind them together and get the breadcrumbs or whatever to stick? A little bit of milk would probably do it.

don't really need them - just mix your potato with your fish, and then roll in breadcrumbs. If you press them in they will stay, although won't be 'glued' on like they would be if you used an egg. Fry gently and don't turn until they're browned/crisp.
