I've offered to do Xmas day canapes for my mum this year as she's doing Xmas lunch. Does anyone on MN know any good ones?

Thanks

Tonnes, what sort of thing did you have in mind? Cold, warm, veggie etc... also have a search in the Recipe topic on here, I think we did canapes a couple of months ago

Why do I never think of searching?

Warm or cold, don't need to be veggie.

Thank you little tattooed rabbit.
White chocolate and caviar, followed by salt and vinegar crisp sticks, it'll be then

don't have any posh names for these, but they take seconds to do;

Smoked salmon 'whirls'
spread cream cheese over a tprtilla wrap, layer with lettuce followed by smolked salmon
roll up tortilla, wrap in film, put in fridge for a couple of hours, remove then slice, so you get a catherine wheel effect.and skewer onto cocktail sticks

and - my fave
hunks of peach and blue cheese wrapped tightly in parma ham
