Has anybody ever roasted leeks?

My brother is currently replacing my kitchen ceiling (three years after it came down, but that's another thread) so I don't want to have to use the hob. I'm doing chicken & bacon & baked potatoes & I'd like to do the leeks (specially requested by DB) in the oven too.
I've looked up some recipes online but roasting times seem to vary from 20 minutes to 40.

Anyone got a tried & tested recipe?

TIA

me... just put them in with a good glug of olive oil, rock salt and parmesan shavings, and some white wine or a bit of stock

How are you?

Thanks lulu - will try that - except maybe for the parmesan which DH hates with a deadly loathing - he says it smells like vomit...
Maybe some herbs instead?

Thanks lulu Camilla - I put some oregano in instead of the Parmesan & they were very good!
