Pork and apple burgers

Meatloaf

I've seen recipes for Thai style patties and also one one where minced pork is wrapped in lettuce or cabbage leaves (another Asian style dish). I can't remember where though but hopefully you'll get the idea.

chuck browned mince and a browned chopped onion in a large saucepan, add tin of tomatoes, a good squirt of puree, chop in half a small cabbage, galic if you like a pint of pork stock and 3/4 a mug full of rice. and simmer for about 1hr. keep an eye to make sure it doesn't stick of boil dry. We put grated cheese on the top

Loompia - it's a Filipino style spring roll.

Mix the pork with chopped onion, garlic, grated carrot/cabbage and raisins (optional) - season with salt and pepper. Buy chinese/indian wrappers for spring roll/samosas (you get them in large Tescos) and roll finger sized spring rolls. Deep fry in hot vegetable/sunflower oil.

Serve with sweet chilli sauce, soy sauce, ketchup or whatever you like!

Lovely!
