Inspire me please - salmon fillets

Have some salmon fillets in the fridge which need to be used tonight, and am doing a big tray of roast vegetables but was wondering how to jazz up the salmon a bit - don't have any pesto or I would do my usual pesto/parmesan crust. Any ideas? Some kind of marinade maybe?

Ooh yes sounds nice, I do have some of that squeezy chilli puree in the fridge, and some lime juice, but no coriander - do have basil though...

chop up the salmon into chunks and marinade in soysauce - then fry. stir-fry veg instead.

lennygirl you have it, I have soy sauce, I have garlic, and I have a lemon, am off to whizz up a marinade...may even put some chilli in as well.

And I think it is crying out for a nice bottle of wine to go with it don't you?

Cheers!

I just marinade salmon in soya sauce - it comes out pretty tasty.

We marinade in teriaki sauce, then bake and serve the sauce / juices with stir fried veg and noodles.

Hollandaise? Sure (although this is the cheats version!)

Egg yolks in a bowl - I use one per person. Bowl over pan of warm water. Whisk while heating the water until simmering.
Slowly whisk in cubes of butter, making sure each one has dissolved before adding the next.
When it has reached the right consistency (don't let it get too hot or it might curdle - if it does add a splash of boiling water and whisk like buggery) add a squeeze of lemon juice and taste for seasoning.
