cheese and potato pie?

I have rashly told DS1 that I would make cheese and potato pie for tea today but have no idea of a recipe or indeed what it would be like! I'm thinking less like a pie with pastry and more like a bake IYSWIM.

Anyone got a simple recipe for such a thing? If indeed such a thing exists?

TIA

The answer is (without meaning to sound like Clare 'fruitcake' Verity) more fresh air and exercise.

When we were younger we could easily put away 3 helpings of roast dinner and would fight over seconds and thirds!! My dds have never done that, but they are not up at the crack of dawn doing sports etc as we were.........

hmm - not sure babout that with DS1 - he walsk to school and back (runs normally tbh) although it's not very far and is really ot one for sitting doing nothing at all - he is always on the go!

I know what you mean, my dds are both constantly like that too - but for some reason they are nowhere near as hungry as we were as kids. Our houses were a lot colder as well, maybe that has something to do with it.
