Jalapenos on nachos - need to know!

You know when you order nachos in a restaurant (or at the cinema) they usually come with melted cheese, salsa, sour cream, sometimes guacamole, and with slices of Jalapino pepper?

Well, I need to know if it's fresh Jalapino pepper slices, or something different. It doesn't taste like sliced fresh pepper. Is it pickled?

Help!

Anyone been to Mexico?

They are usually pickled - you get them in little jars.

Yeah - you'll fine them with all the tortillas and stuff.

'Discovery' ones are crisper but more hot and the 'Old El Paso' ones are a little cooler but more flacid.

Flacid.

I like that.

I shall make an attempt to use it more in polite conversation.

fullmoonfiend · 20/11/2007 18:33

I'm not sure that's possible Eric...

BroccoliSpears · 20/11/2007 18:37

Discovery it is. Ta Eric.
