quick!!! what can i do to make my stew less peppery?

Is it the sort of stew that could go creamy??? Add cream/ fromage frais/ creme fraiche? A different kind of dish, but might be edible?

Add some milk/cream to cool it a little so it's more of a cream of whatever stew

its lamb stew. so not really creamy. and i dont have any yoghurt- ran out this morning. i do have some milk though.....

yes, it was quite nice. though dcs refused to eat any of the veg so ended up having about 4 cubes of lamb each for their tea. oh well. i doubt theyll starve.
