Is it ok to feed bio yogurt to a 6 month old?

...or is there some reason I shouldn't? DD isn't really drinking milk at her childminder's and I am wondering about sending fruit puree mixed with bio live natural yogurt (so she gets some dairy).

maybe natural greek yogurt would be better? (bump!)

No idea about the bio - hadn't really thought about it HD. "Rachel's" and "Yeo Valley" do lovely full fat yoghurts - organic but not necessarily bio. We've had organic Noddy yogurts with no bits, which ds was very happy with

We eat Rachel's and Yeo Valley ourselves - Yeo Valley is bio live isn't it? (well the flavoured yogurts we buy are).

Just had a look - YV is bio - their site is here but I can't see anything about it being unsuitable for babies. Can't think where you would find out tbh - not much help sorry!

Its completely fine. I think Greek yog is also live anyway.

Thanks muddaofsuburbia and elliot (fellow Nottingham-bred mumsnetter!)
