can i make redcurrant jelly with no sugar??

think it might be very tart and unless you used geletine/agar agar it wouldnt set. Do you mean jelly as in wibble wobble or jam type condiment?

jam type condiment. i think you have to use pectin or something to make it set.

Yes, you can, because there are several brands on the market that have no added sugar. but I think they used concentrated fruit juice instead so you still need something other than red currants They don't keep as well though.

the pectin is in the fruit and iirc redcurrants have a high pectin content so might work, but would prob be runny. deliaonline says equal fruit/sugar
