Nice big old list here.

When can I give peanut butter. Do they mean all nuts (can I give him pine nuts).

What about using alcohol in cooking?

Someone told me mushrooms are bad for toddlers!

Ricotta? Goats cheese eg feta?

However, I do give him a mild curry and he's fine?

So poor old ds might be missing out!?

All advice welcome!

alcohol burns off in cooking so that's fine at any age.

I give everything. Didn't mean to give peanut butter, purely because of family allergies, but he grabbed some from his brother so too late, he's had it!

He's had mushrooms too at bad for toddlers!

I think anything sensible, nothing with raw eggs obviously or maybe too much liver (vit A content). They should eat what you eat, and if you can get them to eat what you eat well done!

Brill - many thanks

Poor little thing can have so much more. Starting now!

Not salt though. That's still bad.

No, I wouldn't give salt and I don't give him sugary things. Just think his diet has been a bit limited to date. Bring on the pesto!

give an 18month old anything except WHOLE nuts

obviously a diet full of fruit and veg and full fat dairy products but less processed foods and limited salt would be perfect!

ds2 (19months) eats sashimi. Is that bad?
