Has anyone made Nigella's xmas pud before?

How did it turn out? Dh is cooking it now and mil cooks her pud initially for 8 hours whereas Nigella cooks hers for 3.5 hours. Plus the mixture seemed quite stiff.

I always follow her stuff, I did a whole christmas a few year agos and I am makeing her pud on sunday, also her mincemeat and her choclate christmas cake!! It will be a big 'cook in'

Also her iced run sauce is the bomb, beats sickly brandy butter every time!!

I've recently started using Nigella recipes and have managed to make a proper cake for the first time in my life.

I haven;t had any failures yet!

best thing about Nigella is she only cooks the turkey for 2.5 hrs too!!

No dried up shrived chewy dinner in our house thanks you!!
