Both my ds's decided not to eat around their 2nd birthdays. With ds1 I panicked a bit but hv assured me that it's very common, so with ds2 I'm much more relaxed. I give him what I'm making for ds1 and every now and then he surprises me - he always wolfs down Sunday roast so that's at least one good meal a week

Just wanted to let you know you're not on your own. My DD, almost 16 mths has started to refuse lots of things. I've given up on trying to make it a balanced diet at the momet, and am just grateful for her eating anything !! HV's aren't concerned, they say its just a phase of her learning to exert her authority and choice. As long as she is drinking and sleeping okay it isn't a problem apparently. Her favourite things at present are babybel and hotdog sausages. Good luck !!

My 20 month old will only eat dairylea sandwiches, yoghurts, ice cream, bananas and grape at the mo, or so it seems. I make the ds's a lovely roast dinner and ds1 wolfs it down while ds2 gives me the plate back and says 'nooooo'
