The school fair is tommorrow and there is a cake competition. I have already laboured over a cake with DS1 but now his younger brother wants to enter. Time is running out. Has anyone got a simple but amazing recipe a six year old can make?

TIA

yoghurt cake

1 lemon yoghurt (or plain, or vanilla)
then use the pot to measure:
2 sugar
1 veg oil
3 flour
adding and mixing as you go
then 3 eggs
1.5 tspn baking powder
into a greased floured bundt tin, approx 40mins at 180.
top it with icing drizzled on top. mix icing sugar with lemon juice instead of water for a lovely tart topping.

Oh thanks Maveta, that looks great. Do you mean a big yogurt or a single sized one? Have got all the ingredients except the yoghurt. What size tin?

round with a hole up the middle so it makes a big doughnut shaped cake.
