Bog standard tea in this house - supermarket jobbie - its only for visitors

Coffee is Kenco something or other - i dont drink it, DH and my dad do.

Masses of hot choc - my tipple!

Raspberry Leaf Tea at the moment due to being heavily pg and fed up!

MaryAnnSingleton · 08/11/2007 16:59

I always have some proper coffee in my fridge as I am the coffee queen - I love making a little espresso pot of it at least twice a day.

MaryAnnSingleton · 08/11/2007 17:00

we have some kind of Fairtrade, Tetleys , Earl Grey and some ancient Lapsang Souchong that I really should chuck

Moomin · 08/11/2007 18:17

Blimey, a psycho-analyst would have a field day with all these cupboard contents. I've learned more about my follower MNers from this thread than any other EVER!

Tanee58 · 08/11/2007 18:25

Bought some PG Tips for our removals guys last year - then found I quite liked it - as for the poncy stuff:

Twinings Lady Grey
Twinings Peppermint (also popular at work, come 3pm there's a cry of 'Minty Minty' as the kettle boils from my gay line manager -does that make mint tea 'Gay Tea'?)
Jasmine green tea
Neals Yard rose petal tea (love it at weekends)
some proper Ceylon tea that my cousin in law, who works for the Sri Lankan tea industry, pushing tea across the planet, sends us fresh from the plantation. Trouble is, I forget it's there and reach for the PG.

yomellamoHelly · 08/11/2007 18:37

Taste the Difference Earl Grey (me) - never been the same since ds2
Cheap as chips Basic Range (dh)
Twinings Camomile (me)

I did clean out my cupboard, there was quite a lot of out of date tea. Including a pack of loose green tea that we bought in Sydney for $33. That was pre-child of course. And there was still about 10% of the tea left - that's nearly £2 worth. It was about 3 years out of date though, so I chucked it.

SoMuchToBits · 08/11/2007 19:10

PG - but it has to be leaves, and made in a pot, not a bag in a mug!

norkmaiden · 08/11/2007 19:15

whittard's earl grey loose
whittard's cinnamon and rooibos loose
plum and cinnamon loose
tick tock
fennel
lady grey
my fave - dragonfly rooibos earl grey mmm

an ancient tin that says typhoo but has some unspecified normal tea in it, strictly for tea heathens who barf at most of my tea...

norkmaiden · 08/11/2007 19:16

and yogi! Mustn't forget yogi

Belgianchocolates · 08/11/2007 19:18

Tetley's normal tea
Clipper Rooibos
Clipper White tea
Clipper Peppermint tea
Dr Stuarts Detox tea
Dr Stuarts Tranquility tea
Dr Stuarts Slimming tea
Supermarket of the week Organic Chamomile tea
Organic green tea from Belgium, no idea what brand
And some unidentified tea bags in a drawer named 'other teas' - to scared to test them because I fear they might be fruity teas and I HATE fruity/sweet tea.

That's about all we have in the tea cupboard

  • Some fair trade instant coffee in case a coffee drinker enters our house.
Lulumama · 08/11/2007 19:18
