DD(3) refuses to eat breakfast...

we've tried cereal and toast and she won't eat or whinges and tries to get me to feed her. So today I gave her a brioche roll and a cup of milk - she ate it! But DS is feeling somewhat put out as he had weetabix. Reassure me that nutritionally this is OK or at least equivalent to a bowl of ricies.

Whatever works I say. I have only the one so not moans about unfairness but this morning DS had a chocolate croissant! Not nutrionally sound but all I could get him to eat. Yesterday he had weetabix.

Would she eat a slice of cheese with the brioche roll? Then it is a bit more balanced and your DS would have the same.

We have had dry cereal (Cookie Crisp - the shame!) in the car with a Babybel a few times!

i dont think it matters what they eat as long as its not junk. my dd will only eat banana cake for brekkie. so - its fruit, eggs, sugar, flour - pretty much whats in many breakfast foods.

how about muffins or scrambled eggs?

Muffins are a good idea - might be more attractive than toast! Time is short in morning so I'm trying to stay away from anything that requires cooking.
