Making smoothies....help please!!!

Could anyone please shed some light, on what could potentially be a very silly question?

My dh bought me a smoothie maker last week and i want to make up a citrus smoothie this afternoon.

I have to add 6 lemons and 6 limes to pineapple juice...along with lychees and mango.

Does this mean the juice of the lemons and limes, or the whole thing...peeled obviously??

The recipe doesn't stipulate exactly what is required, and being a smoothie novice, i'm clueless!!

Help please!

Peeled & pithed [snigger] but whole I would think.

That's the difference between a smoothie and juice. Although when I make them I do add apple juice to thin them.
