I am not very good with fish but.... you could try wrapping them in tin foil with fresh lemon (maybe 2 cut in quarters?), butter and garlic and bake in the oven until cooked.

Mix some strong grated cheddar, creme fraiche and mustard into a stiff blob (lots of cheese, mustard to taste and enough creme fraiche to hold it all together). Squish on top of fish fillets or steaks so there is a good cm on top. Put in oven proof dish and bake til the fish is cooked. Tis lovely!

Could you make homemade fish fingers with a packet of breadcrumbs and then freeze them? Or even make your own breadcrumbs! I have got very lazy!

Are you going to fillet them or cook the whole fish?

If fillets cook in an itialin tomato sauce (onion, garlic, toms, with olives and capers) intye oven for about 25 mins.

cardy thats what dh suggested, sounds nice I might do that.

RBH I'm not sure dh would be impressed with me making fish-fingers out of his prize catches

Just make the sauce first, then bake in the oven. I would also include basil....yum. All the better with fresh home caught fish. Save me some
