where to look to discover if 1967 was in fact known for producing barrels of vinegar?

We did something similar for my parents' Ruby Wedding anniversary last year, will try to find sites I used...

next problem will be getting hold of it, most places like Berry bros only ship in cases, there are gift websites that deliver wines in wooden boxes but whether they'd have quailty wine or not...

Sauternes tends to be a rather sweet dessert type wine,may not be to everyones taste .just so you know.

Sauternes is absolutely incredible with foie gras and with stilton. Not relevant, I know, but I'm evangelical about it.
